ADGM Courts Streamline £65 Million Multi-Party Fraud Case With Trialview

In a major international commercial dispute, the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) Courts utilised TrialView to manage Union Properties PJSC & Anor v Trinkler & Partners Ltd & Others. 

The proceedings centered on a high-stakes £65 million fraud claim involving several law firms and an extensive and complex evidence portfolio. Following an intensive nine-day trial held in January 2026 before Justice Sir Andrew Smith, the court issued a comprehensive judgment in March 2026 fully dismissing all claims against the defendants.

The challenge

The litigation was large and incredibly complex, meaning that there were lots of demands and requirements for the parties involved. With damages in excess of £65 million, the court examined wide-ranging allegations of deceit, negligent misrepresentation, unlawful means conspiracy, dishonest assistance, and regulatory breaches under the Financial Services and Markets Regulations 2015.

The sheer scale of the trial created significant operational pressure. Six distinct law firms represented parties across multiple international jurisdictions, generating vast volumes of evidence, and Greenberg Traurig collaborated directly with TrialView to prepare and navigate these extensive court materials. The trial also required strict control over access to evidence and involved navigating intricate applications.
